Opolskie na rowery | Fundusze Europejskie dla Opolskiego

Projekt obejmuje budowę infrastruktury pieszo-rowerowej w celu poprawy bezpieczeństwa uczestników ruchu oraz zwiększenia dostępności do miejsc użyteczności publicznej, w tym zakładów pracy. 
Inwestycja wspiera rozwój transportu rowerowego jako środka komunikacji przyjaznego środowisku.

Projekt realizowany jest etapami, w podziale na zadania inwestycyjne. 
Aktualnie do dofinansowania wybrano:

• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w ciągu DW 454 na odcinku Pokój–Zieleniec,
• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w ciągu DW 408 w miejscowości Brzeźce (km 1+700–3+300),
• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w ciągu DW 414 na odcinku Pomologia-Prószków,
• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w ciągu DW 461 na odcinku Kup-Brynica,
• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w ciągu DW 409 w miejscowości Krapkowice,
• budowę drogi dla pieszych i rowerów w Opolu i Gminie Łubniany.

Zakres prac obejmuje budowę dróg dla pieszych i rowerów, wykonanie oznakowania oraz zastosowanie rozwiązań poprawiających bezpieczeństwo i dostępność, w tym elementów wspierających osoby z niepełnosprawnościami (m.in. kostka integracyjna i płytki prowadzące).

Projekt realizowany jest w ramach Celu Polityki CP2 – „Bardziej przyjazna dla środowiska, niskoemisyjna i przechodząca w kierunku gospodarki zeroemisyjnej Europa” i przyczyni się do ograniczenia ruchu samochodowego.

Inwestycja stanowi kolejny krok w rozwoju infrastruktury rowerowej w regionie. Wcześniejsze działania promujące turystykę rowerową zaowocowały m.in. opracowaniem przewodnika prezentującego 25 tras rowerowych po województwie opolskim. Publikacja zawiera mapy, opisy tras oraz pliki GPX, które pomagają zaplanować wycieczki po regionie: przewodnik rowerowy. 

The project involves the construction of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure to improve road safety and increase access to public places, including workplaces. The investment supports the development of bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of transportation.

The project is being implemented in stages, divided into investment tasks. 
Currently, the following projects have been selected for funding:

• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along the DW 454 road section from Pokój to Zieleniec,
• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along the DW 408 road section in Brzeźce (km 1+700–3+300),
• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along Voivodeship Road No. 414 on the Pomologia to Prószków section,
• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along Voivodeship Road No. 461 on the Kup to Brynica section,
• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along Voivodeship Road No. 409 in the town of Krapkowice,
• Construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path in the City of Opole and the Łubniany Municipality.

The scope of work includes the construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths, signage, and the implementation of solutions to improve safety and accessibility, including elements supporting people with disabilities (including integration paving stones and guide plates).

The project is being implemented under Policy Goal CP2 – "A more environmentally friendly, low-emission Europe, and moving towards a zero-emission economy" – and will contribute to reducing car traffic.

The investment represents another step in the development of cycling infrastructure in the region. Earlier initiatives promoting cycling tourism resulted, among other things, in the development of a cycling guide featuring 25 cycling routes across the Opolskie Voivodeship.
